Privacy Policy

The short version

  • We don't upload your files anywhere. All scanning, filtering, PDF creation and OCR happen in your browser.
  • We use Google Analytics 4 to count anonymous visits, with IP anonymisation on.
  • We serve advertising through Google AdSense on some pages.
  • We do not sell personal data. We don't maintain a user database — there are no user accounts.

Data you provide

The document scanner, image-to-PDF tools, PDF utilities and OCR run entirely inside your web browser. The files you scan or upload never reach our servers or any third-party server. When you download a finished PDF, the browser saves it directly to your device — the file does not travel through us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage: how many people visit, which pages are popular, which countries visitors come from, and how the site performs. Analytics is loaded with anonymize_ip: true, so the last portion of your IP address is dropped before it is stored. We do not link analytics data to any personal identifier.

Advertising

Some pages display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting adssettings.google.com, or manage cookies through your browser.

Cookies

The site itself sets no first-party tracking cookies. Cookies may be set by:

  • Google Analytics (traffic measurement)
  • Google AdSense (ad delivery, frequency capping, non-personalised or personalised ads based on your preferences)

Data retention

We retain aggregate analytics data for up to 14 months. Since we don't receive your files, there is nothing document-related to retain.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, California or another region with data protection laws, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held about you. Since we do not hold identifying personal data, such requests will typically only apply to information Google Analytics or Google AdSense has collected — please contact Google directly for those.
